THAT YOUTH CHOIR

That Youth Choir is a new Toronto-based choir for singers aged 13–22, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of choral artists.

As facet of That Arts Group, our mission is to provide young people with the opportunity to explore the transformative power of singing and storytelling through the choral arts. We cultivate embodied musicianship and a deep love for choral music while building essential skills in vocal technique, choral repertoire, and music theory. Through a supportive and artistically rich environment, we empower young singers of all backgrounds to grow as expressive, skilled, and confident choral musicians. 

As a part of That Youth Choir, you will have the opportunity to perform alongside That Choir and That Community Choir as well as solo feature performances throughout the year in the form of concerts and festivals. You will learn musical skills like sight singing, music theory, and just intonation. You will also practice life skills like collaboration, teamwork, and trust. Lastly, you will form relationships and friendships through shared experience and shared passion. 

AUDITIONS: JUNE 15TH, 2025

To audition, we ask you to prepare any song of your choice to be sung unaccompanied. We will also ask you some questions about your musical experience and interests.
